Remote holiday house with pool near Imotski
This beautiful stone house is a hundred years old, located in Krstatice near Imotski and only 20 min away from Makarska. It was built 1908 during the Franz Jozeph Austro-Hungarian Empire prosperous. Main family trade and incomes at that time were the production and trading of tobacco and wine. From 1908 until the second world war its cellar was turned into a tavern where tired travellers and merchants found their moments of rest and peace. Frescoes from that time are even now preserved on its cellar walls.

Today house is surrounded by 9,000 m2 property which contains thick forest, fertile gardens and massive old stone walls. Intimacy is guaranteed. Gardens are planted with organically grown vegetables: tomatoes, aubergines, cucumbers and various salads which will be at your disposal for free, all you have to do is to pick them up every morning. All this can be enjoyed together with traditional homemade Dalmatian wine and food prepared in the old traditional way at the ancient open fireplace which is located in a small house right next to the main house.
Swimming pool (10m x 4.5m) with saline electrolysis water is at your disposal for maximum enjoyment. Mountain climate will ensure pleasant fresh nights without the need for air-condition during the nigh time, at the most times additional blanket is welcomed.
The house is situated in a beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature. This two-bedroom house can accommodate up to 8 people making it perfect for families with children. The house also contains one bathroom, living room and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Big screen TV with Netflix and IPTV. For your kids there is a tree house with big terrace, slide and a swing. During the stay your cars will be safely parked in secured garage.
Stunning pebble and sandy beaches are only 13 km away on Makarska Riviera. Near the house, guests can also enjoy Blue and Red lakes, and mountain of Biokovo. Distance from highway exit only 6 km, from Split 75 km, from Split airport SPU 90 km.

We also enjoyed the boat trip with mario which was very easy to arrange with the help of Martina. It felt like a proper home rather than a rental and thats a good thing. Would recommend to anyone.
